Aliona King is an experienced facilitator and researcher specialising in risk management and business continuity.


As a researcher at the Kharkov State University, Ukraine from 1992-1995 Aliona participated in a range of projects involving hazard identification, air pollution assessment and monitoring, education and training.
 
In 2000 Aliona studied Environmental Risk Management and developed a “Proposal for Air Quality Management“ for the Adelaide City Council. In 2001 she obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies from the University of Adelaide. These studies incorporated a variety of projects with community organisations, government and non -government agencies.
 
Aliona has taught in both Ukrainian and South Australian Secondary schools. From 2003 – 2010 Aliona has been actively involved in establishing and running the Ukrainian Community School in Adelaide. As a result Aliona has enhanced her strong understanding of multicultural communities, their needs, and specific requirements.
